Son of Shri. M. P. Moideenkuty
Kurikkal; born at Manjeri on 18th June, 1950; S.S.L.C.; Businessman, Agriculturist and Political Worker.
Entered politics in 1965 through M.S.F.; served as President, Taluk Muslim League (1970-71); Office Bearer, State Muslim Youth League Committee and occupied various other positions in Muslim Youth League during 1971-80; elected as State Executive Committee Member in 1980; Secretary, I.U.M.L. Committee of Manjeri Constituency since 1980; Member State Muslim League High Power Committee; was District Winner of Shuttle Badminton in 1974, Participated in the World Malayalee Conference held at Germany, 1990; was Member, Kerala Library Authority; Member, Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee; Member, Central Haj Delegation Committee. Arrested for participating in Arabic Language agitation in 1982; was Individual Champion of the sports meet held for members of the VIII K.L.A. Elected as the first Municipal Chairman of Manjeri Municipality during 1982-84; was Member, Cochin University Syndicate; was a Delegate to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Seminar held at London in 1985.
Now President of Manjeri P.C.C. Society; President, All India Rovers Football Tournament.
Elected to K.L.A. in 1984 (bye-election), 1987, 1991 and 1996.
