Smt. T. Pravathy; born at Dharmadam on 13th February 1937; S.S.LC. and Stockman course from Madras Veterinary College; Political Worker.
Entered in Madras Animal Husbandry Department in 1956 and later converted to Kerala Animal Husbandry Department and continued in service till 1990; was General Secretary and President of Kerala N.G.O. Union; Executive Committee Member of Federation of State Employees and Teachers and All India State Government Employees Federation; Contested Kannur District Council Election in 1990 and became its President; was State President, District Council Presidents Chamber; Served as Member of Committee on Decentralisation; President of Non Teaching Staff Union and President of Kerala Backward Class Development Corporation Employees Association.
Now State Committee Member of C.P.I.(M).
