    "The Assembly having discussed the food position in this State, resolved, that necessary steps be taken to remedy the existing situation regarding the increase in the price of rice and the inadequacy of supplies."

    "This House recommends that the President of India may, by virtue of powers vested in him under Section 51(2) of the States Reorganisation Act, establish a permanent bench of the High Court of Kerala at Trivandrum."

    ''This House expresses its concern at the persistent reports and the statements made by Members of Parliament belonging to all political parties to the effect that there is a likelihood of the construction of the Second Ship Building Yard to be located at Cochin being taken out of the Third Five-Year Plan. It unanimously requests the Government of India and the Planning Commission to include it in the Third Five-Year Plan."

    ''This Assembly having considered the difficult food situation in the State and the impending threat to the maintenance of food rationing in the State by the uncertainty of future supply, requests the Government of India to allot adequate quantities to maintain rationing in the State recognising that the deficit in foodgrains in the Kerala State amounts to fifty per cent of its requirements and that this State contributes substantially to the wealth of the country and the foreign exchange resources of India and recalling the solemn promises of the Government of India at the time of breaking up of the Southern Rice Zone and the formation of separate State Food Zones that the deficit of rice in Kerala would be made good by allotment of adequate quantities of rice from imports or from other States to enable the distribution of a rice ration of not less than 160 grams of rice per adult per day."

    ''Having considered the food situation in the State in all its aspects and taking note of the fact that the supply position is rapidly deteriorating causing great hardship to the people in the State, this House resolves that all steps should be taken forthwith to improve the supply position and to ensure the restoration of the rice ration to the original level of 160 grams rice per adult per day. This House further resolves that the Central Government be requested to arrange for adequate supply of rice to the State for this purpose, so that the people in the State may be assured full supply of rice ration during the lean period from June to August 1967. This House extends to the State Government its full support in the efforts of the State Government to secure from the Government of India adequate supply of rice and to maximise procurement of paddy from within the State and to eliminate defects in distribution.''
