Was District Secretary, K.S.U.; District President, Youth Congress; General Secretary, D.C.C., Thiruvananthapuram; Member, K.P.C.C. Executive; Secretary, K.P.C.C.; General Secretary, I.N.T.U.C. State Committee; Vice-President, I.N.T.U.C.; Founder President of Thiruvananthapuram Jilla Chumattuthozhilali Congress. Served as Chairman, Kerala Head Load Workers’ Welfare Fund Board. Represented the country as a member of the Haj Goodwill Delegates of India.

Previously elected to K.L.A. in 2001 and 2006.
