Was General Secretary, Muslim Students Federation (M.S.F.), Government College Unit, Kasaragod; Was Joint Secretary, Taluk Committee, (M.L), Kasaragod; General Secretary, Municipal Committee (ML), Kasaragod; was Councillor, Muslim League State Committee; was Honorary Correspondent of Chandrika Daily in U.A.E.; after the split in Muslim League in 1992 joined Indian National League(I.N.L); was District General Secretary and State Treasurer (I.N.L.), Kasaragod; rejoined Muslim League in 2011 following the merger of INL with mother party.

Now, President, Agriculture Co-operative Society, Kasaragod; Manager, Anvarul Uloom A.U.P. School; Director, Co-operative Ayurvedic Hospital, Kasaragod.
