Daughter of Shri. C.T. Ayyappan and Smt. P.S. Ammukutty; born at Punnayurkulam on  30^th May 1973; Pre-Degree; Social Worker.

Entered politics through CPI in 1995; Was Member and Secretary, Mahila Sangham Mandalam Committee; Member, CPI, Guruvayoor Mandalam Committee and District Council; Chairperson, Guruvayoor Municipality (2004 and 2009) and its Health committee; Deputy Chairperson, Guruvayoor Municipality (2011). During the Chairpersonship, introduced many developmental programmes in the Municipality such as Office computerisation, Touch Screen Project, Distribution of one-day permit, inclusion of ‘Clean and Green Guruvayoor Project’ in the budget, Road developmental projects and Guruvayoor Municipality became the only one Municipality, which banned the use of plastic carry bags and received an award for the same from the government of Kerala.
