Son of Shri. T. V. Narayanan and Smt. Kalikkutty; born at Talikulam on 12^th May 1960; Pre-Degree; Political and Social Worker; Co-operative Bank Employee.

Entered politics through K.S.U.  Was State Vice-President and Thrissur District President, K.S.U.; District General Secretary, Youth Congress; District President, Kerala Desheeya Vedi; Member and Executive Committee Member, K.P.C.C.; Senate Member, Calicut University; Executive Committee Member, Kerala Kalamandalam, Congress Parliamentary Party and Vyloppilly Samskrithi Bhavan; Member, Kerala Folklore Academy and Kerala Sports Council.  Served as Member of Petitions Committee and Subject Committee (Fisheries, Revenue, Forest, Tourism and Agriculture) of the 12^th Kerala Legislative Assembly.

Chairman, T.S.G.A. Rural Indoor Stadium at Thriprayar in Nattika; Founder of ‘Snehatheeram’ Beach Park at Talikulam, which was selected for the Best Tourism Destination Award by the State Government in 2010; Chief organiser of ‘Ammakkilikkoodu’, a gathering of old aged lonely mothers; Chief Organiser of ‘Oruma Beach Festival’, Nattika, an event for improving communal harmony among the people in coastal areas.  Recipient of the first ‘Pravasi Award’ instituted by Pratheeksha Publications, U.A.E. and ‘Janaprathibha’ Award instituted by Thrissur Youth Movement for the ‘Best Newly Elected M.L.A.’; Award by the Vettuva Maha Sabha for the ‘Best Public Worker’; Rao Bahadur Govindan Smaraka Puraskaram’ for improving the educational standards of the backward people in coastal areas; Best MLA Award by the Kerala State Sports Council in 2011; 'Hridayarppanam' Award presented by Vivekananda Seva Kendram, Thrissur; and 'Matapuraskaram' presented by 'MATA THEATRE', Perambra, Kozhikode for the distinct and noble activities made in social, cultural and charitable fields.

Now, Chief Whip of Congress Parliamentary Party; Chairman, Committee on Private Members' Bills and Resolutions; Secretary, K.P.C.C.; President, Talikulam Public Library and Regional Tourism Development Society, Nattika; and Chairman, Thriprayar Sports and Games Association.

Previously elected to K.L.A. in 2001 and 2006.
