on 25th May 1959; S.S.L.C.;
Agriculturist.
Started political
life through Kerala Socialist Youth Federation (K.S.Y.F.)
in 1975. Entered
parliamentary field as a Grama Panchayat Member
(1987). Participated
in ‘Michabhoomi Struggle’ and got imprisoned
for 13 days.
Was Member, C.P.I.(M) City Branch
Committee (1977); Founder President of Thenaari
Ksheerolpadaka Sahakarana Sangham (1990); First
District Panchayat President of Palakkad (1996);
State Committee Member, Karshaka Sangham (1999);
Director Board Member, Kerala State Co-operative
Bank (2007); District President, Primary
Co-operative Societies Association, Palakkad
(2008); President, Elappully Service
Co-operative Bank (since 2004).
